Some of the newly added features in the Civilization 4: Warlords are new category of people called Great Generals, three new wonders, new team leaders, enhanced improvements in existing units, unique civilization buildings, 8 new map scenes and inclusion of all existing patches. Eventhough Civilization 4: Warlords included several new featuresbut the gameplay remained almost identical to the original game. But there are few technical problems in the expansion pack that I will discuss later in this review. But before let’s have a detailed view of the newly added features.



Civilization 4: Warlords includes new type of unit called Great Generals which are Great people in fact. This unit can be created only after total experience of the civilization is more than other civilizations and reaches threshold. This unit is used to trigger Golden Age. There is also a new feature called Vassal states introduced in the Civilization4: Warlords that allows player to take up other empires as “vassals” and the empire comes in the control of the player.
